About founder Tom Dailey

Tom is a senior global technology and business leader and chief legal officer with more than 25 years of telecommunications and technology leadership experience at Fortune US Top 20 company, Verizon. He advised Verizon’s senior most executives on legal, strategic, operational, policy and regulatory matters, and his experience spans the breadth of Verizon's $130B+ consumer and enterprise businesses in the U.S. and globally.

Tom’s senior leadership roles at Verizon included SVP & Chief International Legal Officer, where he headed up the legal, regulatory and policy groups for Verizon’s multi-billion dollar global enterprise business operations. His senior leadership roles also included Chief Corporate Strategy Counsel, Head of International Public Policy, Chief Telecom Marketing Counsel and General Counsel of Verizon’s consumer broadband (FTTH) service. Throughout his career, Tom has worked at the intersection of law, policy and technology, including most recently 5G, Unmanned Aerial Systems (Drones), Telematics, Cybersecurity and the Internet of Things (IoT).

Tom is an enthusiastic speaker on technology, innovation and regulation, and the Founder of Dailey Strategic Advisors LLC. Tom is also the Co-Founder of MetaNet Partners LLC, a consulting venture designed to advise companies, policy makers and other stakeholders on cutting edge regulatory and business matters in the area of unmanned aerial systems technology.
